Message from our President
Dear Friends,
I would like to personally welcome you to the ORT Montreal web site. It is a great honour for me to work with so many dedicated volunteers and supporters who share my vision for ORT.
ORT is a world class organization which has been providing excellence in education in 60 countries worldwide for over 129 years. It is through the continuous support of individuals as well as corporate sponsors that ORT has been able to meet the increasing demands for its internationally recognized educational services.
As we take pride in our past successes, we realize that there is so much more that needs to be done. We know that we must continue to raise the bar for our fundraising efforts in order to help even more ORT students worldwide to achieve their dreams.
"Educating for Life" is what ORT stands for. As our world faces economic challenges, the need to increase education funding to those who depend on it the most is even greater. We cannot afford to cut back on funding science and technology programs, as our future depends on this. We continue to depend on the generosity of our supporters to keep the future bright for ORT students.
